CAST

“I can honestly say that being involved in Future Stage’s production of ‘West Side Story’ was a life-changing experience. This was an amazing opportunity to learn from professional Musical Theatre actors and find out more about the industry I aspire to go into. Combining the professional actors with young, aspiring actors was a rewarding and inspiring experience. The cast were so motivated, and the four shows were a product of huge enthusiasm and passion from everyone involved. I am so proud of what I achieved during my time with Future Stages. The experience has inspired me to keep going to achieve my goal of becoming a professional actor. I’ll never forget my involvement and have come away from it with a group of great friends and a new belief in myself.”

“Future Stages is an innovative company providing unique opportunities for young performers to gain priceless knowledge from working professionals. It was inspiring to see these initially nervous and withdrawn young people transform into confident and expressive performers that matched the energy that we, as the mentors, provided.”

AUDIENCE

“The production was absolutely phenomenal! How could there be so much young talent in the North West? Very proud to be living in Greater Manchester. Thank you for nurturing local and National talent!”

“This was an impressive and most professional production. The acting, singing, dancing, acrobats, orchestra were all first-class. I could have heard and seen it immediately all over again it was so compelling. The result of inspired teaching and the response to it by inspired, talented students.”

“It was great to see so many talented young actors and musicians performing to such a high professional standard – clearly to the delight of their many supporters in the audience. In my view, this is how we should be using culture – as a way of inspiring young people, and of being inspired by them. And as a result, bringing in new audiences to experience the glories of classic musical texts and productions.”
